The Emerald Green dresses were utterly divine in the sunlight surrounded by trees and the light wind showed the movement of the fabric perfectly.

As it was a rare sunny day in Glasgow we took the opportunity and went outside and found quirky little areas of the Merchant City that we could use including the beautiful gardens surrounding the Ramshorn Theatre where we took most of our outdoor group shots. We opted for the Aubergine, Putty and Heather dresses for the models to wear in the Courtyard of Arta as the colours of the dresses complimented the surroundings beautifully and then went onto Rosewater, baby blue and Platinum. We decided to do the shoot local to the boutique which is in heart of Merchant City, Glasgow - Merchant City is an area predominantly surrounded by trendy bars and restaurants so we went for Arta, a beautiful old three story building which was once the old Glasgow Cheese Market and has now been transformed into a beautiful Spanish Hacienda style venue, so this fitted perfectly with our idea of an uber glamorous shoot. Our vision was a glamorous editorial style shoot to inspire brides and showcase the unique and beautiful styles of twobirds and to complete this inspiration we were joined by Gill from twobirds who came up from London to give us all her styling advice along with the amazingly talented Claire Graham, who has previously worked on twobirds shoots before, we were also joined by some local suppliers like hair and make-up dream team Cat Robertson and Pin-Up Hair and Lorraine Wood provided the bouquets. “Having been a stockist of the twobirds dresses for over three years a Scottish based shoot is something we’ve always planned to do but just never took the plunge - the dress itself and the twobirds brand is quite different to anything else we stock and we wanted to make sure the photographer, styling, venue and models were just right and we're so pleased how the whole shoot has come together.
